The VSS is organizing a national demonstration on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 5 p.m. on the Bundesplatz in Bern, with speeches and the official handover of the petition to political decision-makers. In addition, various sections of the VSS are organizing regional actions. We cordially invite you and your organization to join us and send a strong message of solidarity. Your presence counts—for education, for young people, for our future.

- From 11 am: Joint design of posters and painting of a large banner on the Polyterrasse at ETH
- 2 pm: Gathering & speech
- 2.30 pm: Walk to the main station
- 3.32 pm: Departure by train to Bern
- 5 pm: Demonstration in Bern at Bundesplatz
Panel discussion
What are the federal government’s plans? Why are cuts being made to education? How will this affect students, our economy and Switzerland as a centre of innovation? We will be discussing the reasons behind the increase in tuition fees with politicians. Come along and ask all your questions in person!
